LG G Watch gets its first promo video

The LG G Wear has a new video out today and it shows the watch in its full glory. The video itself doesn’t reveal anything that we didn’t already know but it’s cool enough and keeps the excitement going for the smart wearable’s summer release.

LG G Watch promo video vaguely highlights features

lg_g_watchThe LG G Watch isn’t expected until later this month, leaving plenty of time for LG to hype the device. A new promo video attempts to create buzz about the device without giving too much away. Among the phrases mentioned:

  • “LG defines the smartwatch”
  • “Compatible with Android”
  • “Sleek and lightweight for all-day comfort”
  • “Metal body for a timeless look”
  • “Ready for anything, anytime with a single charge”
  • “Waterproof for your outdoor activities”

There’s obviously a lot still to be learned about the G Watch, but this video keeps our interest. Check out the video past the break.

google_glass_seedsMother’s Day is coming up in just a few days, and Google is celebrating my posting a video celebrating mothers. Grab the tissues as you watch “Seeds,” shot entirely through Google Glass by students of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts for the Glass Creative Collective. The short film shows a son’s journey to his mother, but we don’t want to give too much away, so check out the video after the break.

Nexus 5 and older version of Android 4.4 shows up in 7 minute hands on video

Nexus_5_Leaked_Image_From_First_Hands_On_Video

Ever since the Nexus 5 made a surprise appearance in the Google Kit Kat video, we have been yearning for a little more. Well today our prayers have been answered with a full hands on 7 minute video from smartphones.sfr.fr. You get a chance to see the device as well as Android 4.4. It’s obviously an older build since it’s running Key Lime Pie, but no word on exactly how old. Even the launcher isn’t transparent like we are expecting with the version that gets released.

The timing of this leak is quite interesting, and one has to wonder if we will indeed see the officially unveiling next week as rumored. Hit the break for the video.

LG_Video_Chicken_Optical_Image_Stabilization

LG has created yet another video to go along with the launch of the LG G2. While the other was focused on the actual design process for their flagship device, LG opted for a little bit of comedy to show off a very important feature. In this case, a chicken doing plenty of adventurous activities with a camera on its head is used to “inspire” the G2′s optical image stabilizer camera. Hit the break for the full video.

HTC releases 13 additional 7-second videos as part of “Here’s to Change”

htc_cubesHTC is a very interesting company in the midst of a very interesting marketing push. If you watched the recent video of Robert Downey Jr. and the Humongous Tinfoil Catamaran, you may have noticed a scene with many cubes, as you see above. HTC has gone out and posted nine new 7-second videos showing what exactly is going on in each of those cubes. Each can be described, of course, using the letters H, T, and C.  In addition, HTC has uploaded 7 second versions of some of the scenes from the full Here’s To Change video.

You can see all 13 videos after the break. Which is your favorite?
