Samsung releases list of US devices to receive ICS

The house of Samsung has been busy with ICS, between preparing to release the software for a multitude of devices and actually releasing it for some lucky users. While updates are brewing for some devices that haven’t gotten them, Samsung has released a list reiterating which devices are in fact getting the update, perhaps to reassure those that are becoming impatient. There’s not really anything new here, with the Galaxy S 2 devices and newer Tabs set to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich goodness and older devices relegated to stale Gingerbread (really not all that bad a thing). Oddly, there’s nothing specific for T-Mobile devices, with the only information being “We are in close communication with T-Mobile to ensure that eligible devices are upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the coming months and will provide updates as we have additional details to share.” Beyond that, while it’s information we’ve heard before, it’s good to hear continued official word coming down from the horse’s mouth.

Looking forward to ICS love? Have some already via rooting? Let us know in the comments!
